SCALE THE SUMMIT Signs With PROSTHETIC RECORDS

December 7, 2007

Prosthetic Records has announced signing of the Houston-based instrumental progressive quartet SCALE THE SUMMIT.

Formed in Los Angeles in 2004, the band has previously released the self-financed full-length, "Monument", which has been receiving positive press worldwide. Clips from the release are available on the group's MySpace page.

SCALE THE SUMMIT is currently continuing to work on new material for the forthcoming Prosthetic Records debut, which is tentatively scheduled for a late 2008 release.

"We're all very excited about working with Prosthetic Records and are looking forward to what we will accomplish together in the future," guitarist Chris Letchford says." We are currently preparing to go out on the road in 2008 in support of our current release 'Monument', while also showcasing the new material that we have written for our first Prosthetic release. The new songs have really helped us solidify our signature sound, so expect to hear more evolved, face melting instrumental jams from SCALE THE SUMMIT!"
